1420SA HostRAID driver image files for X64 varieties of Red Hat Advanced Server 2.1, RHEL 4, RHEL 3, SuSE 9, SLES 9, SLES 8 and many others. There may be additional files included for some operating systems that are not officially supported such as United Linux, CENTOS and Fedora Core. These are provided for your convenience. Caution: It is very important to follow these update instructions. If there is a RAID array R0 or R1 the update must be performed driver first, then the BIOS and last the Adaptec Storage Manager utility. If there is a drive configured as a JBOD or single container it will not be seen after update. Run a backup and verify that backup. Then perform the updates and reconfigure the container, then restore the data from the backup.
